The diameter is not as thick as I would like, but it is a nice cable.

Really Strong

This cable seems very sturdy. It's actually much thicker and heavier than I expected. If you don't need the extra security, I'd go with a slimmer cable so it's easier to handle.

It's exceeded my expectations.

I can't say how effective this is against a determined thief. No one's tried to defeat it, yet. It is beautiful, with cool, little black Velcro wraps, to keep it coiled. I was really just looking for functionality, which I believe I got. The appearance is a bonus.
